How'd You Sleep Last Night?
s

Not So Well?
It could be the Air You're Breathing.

According to the National Sleep Foundation, most sleep problems have neurological or respiratory causes.

At PuriTec, we can't do too much for your neurological problems, but we can help with your respiratory problems.  Even if you're not aware of allergies, you may have them.  If you wake up stuffy or congested, or if you or someone you know snores, it may be a reaction to the quality of your air.

Our bedrooms are often the most polluted rooms in our house, mostly because of the dustmites that hide in our bedding.  As these dustmites breed, die, and excrete, particles become airborne, creating poor indoor air quality in our bedrooms.   These airborne contaminants often causes allergic reactions.

The problems of air quality in our bedrooms is made worse by the lack of air circulation that occurs in many bedrooms.  Once airborne contaminants are introduced to our bedrooms, they often stay there, accumulating.

As our bodies react to airborne contaminants, mucous builds up, and our bodies tell us to wake up enough to roll over or to shift positions.  It is also likely that as the mucous build-ups, that you (or someone else) will begin to snore.  In fact, researchers find that most snoring is caused by environmental factors, not physical abnormalities.

While there may not be environmental solutions to your snoring problems or cure all your sleep problems, there are some things you can do to improve your sleep.

The American Lung Association and the Environmental Protection Agency recommend three steps for clearing air-borne irritants from your bedroom.

At CleanFreshAir.com, we offer solutions to your air quality problems.  We offer a full range of Air Cleaners that remove the particulates from your air economically and efficiently.  Click Here to learn more about how our state of the art air cleaners eliminate indoor air pollution.

The National Sleep Foundation also says that one third of American adults suffer hazardous levels of day time sleepiness.
It seems obvious, but how well you sleep at night affects how you feel the next day, your ability to perform daily tasks and work, and your enjoyment of leisure activities.  If you're not getting all you want out of life, maybe you should consider how you're sleeping.
